Let’s talk about HR, Human resources for a moment. Dealing with employees can be a very tricky area because there are a lot of rules and regulations and I’ll be the first to tell you they don’t normally favor the business owner. They favor the employee. So there’s kind of a guilty until proven innocent situation going on. So you want to be very careful once you start employing people in your business to make sure that you’re following the rules. A really easy way to do this is to utilize your payroll services, HR services. Many have bundles where they can include for a period of time or an ongoing capacity to help you get employee manuals in place, to follow policies, uh, for vacation, paid time off, hourly wages, all of those. And offer you advice in situations where you’re terminating people, hiring, dealing with, disabilities, mental health issues, all of those fun little sticky things. So in our firm, we work with Gusto for our payroll provider and they do have an option where you can add on these HR services. If this is something you’re interested in, I’d be happy to help you out and let you know how we can get that set up for you. Just let me know and we can get you started.
